Last of the apples

I suspect this will be my last swim before I head off to Brussels and beyond.
Since the eplehagen is littered with unpicked apples, I cast a few out to sea.

I'm in a hibernating mood, so the view from my little patch of sand is as much as I care to see of the world these days!

Apple butter

After a gloriously sunny weekend in Trondheim, the grey showers were an anticlimax, but I gathered loads of apples from the Eplehagen and am reducing them to apple-butter on the wood-burning stove as I warm myself up.

Ikigai

Ikigai (life-fruit) is an interest that drives us, rewards us and gives us a sense of self, while also allowing us to lose ourselves in its pursuit. We are advised to make more time for it, and I would gladly have spent hours dipping this small branch in and out of the fjord, were the water not so dangerously cold!

Heavy showers during the day have obligingly given way to sunshine for my sunset swim recently! 

Back from Prague

Batman for company as I head down this well-trodden path for a last dip before I fly to Prague and Harald to St Petersburg
